Hansaviertel — living in Interbau modernist architecture
The Hansaviertel between S-Bahn Bellevue, Hansaplatz and the Tiergarten is a living architectural museum: in 1957 the Interbau opened here, an international building exhibition of modernism with contributions by Alvar Aalto, Oscar Niemeyer, Walter Gropius, Egon Eiermann and many others. Today, the characteristic apartment buildings between Klopstockstrasse, Bartningallee and Haendelallee are home to architects, academics, journalists and long-standing residents who moved in when the buildings were brand new.
The Tiergarten location is exceptional — many balconies look directly into the park. The quarter is served by a handful of local practices, but they are unreachable outside office hours. The specialist house call steps in there: evenings, weekends, public holidays — or when the lift on the seventh floor has become a hurdle.

Hypertension, cardiac symptoms, respiratory infections, back pain, vertigo and follow-up checks for chronic disease are common reasons. With younger residents we treat migraine, acute gastrointestinal complaints and burnout-like exhaustion. We administer vitamin infusions on site when medically indicated.

Route from Charlottenburg to the Hansaviertel
From Roscherstrasse 3 we take Bismarckstrasse, Otto-Suhr-Allee and Spreeweg or Strasse des 17. Juni through the Tiergarten. Arrival 10 to 15 minutes, evenings and weekends often under 10.
Parking around Klopstockstrasse and Hansaplatz is mostly available, Strasse des 17. Juni and Spreeweg offer good access. For higher floors please share the lift code by phone if applicable.
