A notary appointment requires either a statement on capacity to act or pure unfit-to-attend. An examination requires an 'unfit to sit' certificate. How a visit before an important appointment works
You call. We take down symptoms, address, type of appointment and time until the event. With a very narrow window (under 4 hours) we prioritise and tell you honestly whether we can make it. The physician calls before arrival. On site: thorough examination, rapid tests, ECG if needed. If symptoms are treatable and the appointment is medically defensible — we treat (IM triptan for migraine, antipyretic for fever, analgesia for lumbago) and try to save the appointment.
If the appointment is not defensible, we issue the certificate the addressee accepts. We word it for the specific addressee (court, employer, examination board, notary) — no boilerplate, clear justification. Bilingual on request.
Cost and certificate billing
All services are billed under the GOÄ via our Privatärztliche Verrechnungsstelle. Typical cost for a visit with examination, diagnostics and certificate: EUR 240 to 420 depending on time of day, diagnostic scope and certificate type. PKV reimburses in full. Beihilfe reimburses as well. Self-payers pay directly.
GOÄ certificate codes (e.g. 70, 75, 80) are itemised separately — for extensive attestations (multi-page court-grade certificates with justification) accordingly higher. For life-threatening emergencies: 112.
